Hot meal and warm stay in comfortable bed.
- What did you like most?I stayed 1 night in this hotel due to not having electricity during the ice storm. It was a warm place with a comfortable bed, and they had hot food. The bar area was SO cold due to guests coming through a side door constantly. There was a man operating the bar and kitchen- just by himself. He was struggling due to being the only one but he truly pulled through and was very apologetic. He did a great job. The staff at the counter said they were understaffed as well as house keeping but they all had great attitudes - very helpful.
- Was there anything you didn't like?I checked into my hotel around 3pm and tried to shower around 9:30pm and there was no hot water. On one of my towels was someone else’s hair about an inch long. The walls are paper thin- there was a family next to me who I could hear their whole conversation for hours before going to bed. They were being very loud. There was only 1 elevator operating and with the amount of people that were staying there we all crammed into them like sardines. I was told the stairway is only for going down stairs- can’t use it to go up. This made taking the elevator take very long.
