Good location and facilities, but...
- What did you like most?The property is quite convenient and fairly central. It’s about an 8-minute walk from Alexanderplatz, which makes it easy to reach that area. For most other places, you do need to take the metro or bus, but public transport is easily accessible. The gym was also nice and well maintained, which was a plus during our stay.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The biggest issue was the New Year’s Eve dinner. The staff was quite rude and the organization was poor. We were told not to make a reservation and that, as a couple, it wouldn’t be necessary. However, when we arrived, the restaurant was completely full and we initially didn’t have a table. Eventually, they opened another section of the restaurant for us. During dinner, my hamburger order was wrong three times. I am allergic to pickles, and despite clearly explaining this, the burger kept being served with pickles. Because we were seated near the kitchen, I could also hear inappropriate comments from the staff about the fact that it was the third time the order was wrong. When the dish was finally served correctly, the chef reportedly referred to it as “the burger for the allergic one,” which felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. Aside from the New Year’s Eve dinner, the Wi-Fi connection was also not very reliable.
